Job summary

Amkor Technology, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Director of Technical Program Management to lead a team of TPMs in supporting key customer accounts and driving NPIs. You will work with account managers and service teams to ensure technical alignment with packaging requirements and customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of TPM experience in semiconductor packaging.
• Excellent program management, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical point of contact for assigned customers.
• Guide packaging strategies to optimize cost and performance.
• Develop and align material and package roadmaps to customer needs.
• Create and deliver assembly technology presentations.
• Coordinate customer visits for Technical Review Meetings.
• Manage NPI with Amkor factory teams.
• Initiate customer designs and follow up on designs.
• Drive orders for tooling and substrates for NPIs.
• Resolve technical issues across packaging, processing, and materials.
• Create DOEs to support data gathering on new products.
• Support audits and maintain strategic customer alignment.
