Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) Director to orchestrate large, complex module programs spanning Logic and Memory units and key customers. Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related semiconductor discipline; PhD preferred.
• 12+ years in the semiconductor industry with at least 5 years in technical program management or leadership.
• Deep knowledge of DRAM, Logic/Foundry nodes, BEOL, FEOL, etch, deposition, and module integration.
• Proven track record managing programs with major semiconductor manufacturers at VP/Director level.
• Strong program management discipline with schedule, budget and risk controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication delivering executive-level summaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer engagements, including TRMs, yield improvement tasks, and cost reduction efforts.
• Prepare executive materials for customer and internal leadership meetings.
• Drive cross-BU alignment across multiple modules and IDTs with structured review cadences.
• Coordinate program execution across US and international sites (Korea, Japan, Taiwan).
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; lead critical-path analyses.
• Maintain disciplined cadence: meeting minutes, action tracking, milestone reporting, status updates.
• Collaborate with BD and strategy teams to shape module engagements and align development priorities.
