Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working on energy storage projects across multiple U.S. markets.
• Strong understanding of energy storage development, technologies, and commercial applications.
• Experience with environmental, utility, and regulatory landscape surrounding storage development.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ownership mentality.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new U.S. energy storage markets and determine opportunities the company pursues.
• Develop market-entry and development strategies for storage projects.
• Engage with vendors and evaluate BESS technologies, products, configurations, use cases, and value propositions.
• Determine optimal storage configuration and sizing for standalone BESS and solar-plus-storage projects.
• Support development teams with project siting and interconnection.
• Identify and engage potential buyers/offtakers for storage projects.
• Assist with the preparation of commercial proposals.
• Participate in storage contract negotiations. Coordinate across development, commercial, technical, and other internal teams.
