Job summary

Loenbro Group, LLC is seeking a Technical Accounting Director to lead external financial reporting and GAAP analysis on-site in Las Colinas, TX. You will partner with the CAO, CFO, FP&A, tax, and legal to strengthen reporting quality, disclosure readiness, close discipline and internal controls.

The role emphasizes SEC reporting (10-K/10-Q), technical accounting, long‑term contract accounting under ASC 606, and support for strategic initiatives including acquisitions and joint ventures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SEC reporting and GAAP analyses for complex entities.
• Ability to partner with CAO/CFO, FP&A, tax and legal to strengthen disclosures and controls.
• Strong analytical skills in revenue recognition, business combinations and ASC 606.
• Proven leadership in a corporate finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEC reporting, Form 10-K and 10-Q, and support Investor Relations.
• Conduct GAAP research and prepare analyses/whitepapers on complex matters.
• Own long‑term contract accounting under ASC 606, including EAC updates.
• Review contract assets/liabilities and advise on recognition timing.
• Support transactions including acquisitions and joint ventures.
• Enhance reporting processes, controls, and automation with finance leaders.
• Oversee fixed assets accounting and lease accounting under ASC 842.
• Serve as liaison for external auditors and maintain audit readiness.
