Job summary

Oklo is seeking a Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to own the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements and to oversee technical accounting analyses. You will report to the VP of Accounting and Controller, oversee accounting policies and SOX controls, and partner with internal/external stakeholders to ensure accurate, scalable reporting.

The role requires leadership of policy development, external audit coordination, and ongoing training across the finance team,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in accounting and financial reporting roles, including recent public accounting experience.
• SEC reporting experience required
• Active CPA

Responsibilities

• Prepare the financial statements and footnotes for Oklo’s Form 10-K and Form 10-Q, including all schedules and MD&A.
• Lead Disclosure Committee meetings and Audit Committee reporting.
• Perform technical accounting research on complex areas such as business combinations, asset acquisitions, power purchase agreements, consolidation, and stock-based compensation.
