Job summary

Casper College is seeking a Director for the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment to lead instructional development and promote teaching excellence across the campus. The role involves planning faculty professional development, coordinating orientation and mentoring, and facilitating assessment activities to drive continuous improvement in student learning.

The position requires a Master’s degree and at least three years of teaching experience, with a strong commitment to collaboration

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited institution
• A minimum of three years of teaching experience that includes curriculum design, instructional planning, student learning assessment, and the use of effective teaching practices
• Knowledge of current teaching best practices in higher education
• Experience collaborating across multiple departments
• A demonstrated commitment to professional development

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support for instructional development and promote teaching excellence.
• Identify, develop, and oversee professional development programming including new faculty orientation, mentoring, in-house training, guest speakers, and external events.
• Plan and coordinate in-house professional development training, workshops, and collaborative meetings.
• Manage a space for faculty to meet and exchange ideas and promote collaboration across departments.
• Assist with institutional and program assessment activities and help faculty with assessment processes for continuous improvement of student learning.
