Job summary

Carondelet High School in Concord seeks a Director of Summer Programming and Community Engagement to lead public-facing programs for K–8 families, coordinating with Enrollment, Academics, Student Life, Athletics, and Marketing to extend the school’s community reach.

This role builds relationships with elementary and middle schools, creates social media content with the MarCom team, and ensures programs align with the school's Catholic mission while welcoming diverse families.

Qualifications

• Strong written communication, public speaking, and parent relationship skills.
• Proficiency with registration platforms, learning management systems, and participant data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead summer programming and year-round community engagement initiatives in partnership with Enrollment and Engagement, Academics, Student Life, Athletics, and Marketing and Communications.
• Plan and manage programs and events that welcome K–8 students and families to campus, including summer offerings, middle school initiatives, camps, and sports clinics.
• Recruit, mentor, and prepare high school students to serve as camp counselors and middle school event leaders, building confidence and communication skills.
• Create social media content and parent-facing promotional materials in partnership with Marketing and Communications.
• Partner with Marketing and Communications to strategize regarding event promotion, identify student and family audiences, and coordinate messaging and timelines.
• Collaborate with Academic and Student Life teams to identify new ways to engage prospective families through learning, leadership, entrepreneurship, and community experiences.
• Monitor summer remediation progress, prepare completion summaries, and coordinate final grades with the Data Analyst and appropriate Academic staff.
