Job summary

Providence Center is seeking a dynamic Program Coordinator/Lead Teacher to design, manage, and lead high‑quality youth development initiatives for our K‑8 after‑school program and Summer Leadership Academy. The role blends academics, enrichment, and SEL to support students.

You will recruit and coach part‑time teen leaders, ensure licensing compliance, and build partnerships with families, schools, and community partners to promote recruitment, retention, and student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field, or alternative with youth experience.
• Clearances: PA Child Abuse, PA State Police, FBI as required.
• Experience with youth development and after-school programming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of K-8 after-school program during the academic year and summer initiatives for high school youth.
• Design and implement enrichment activities (STEM, arts, literacy) and workshops (work readiness, life skills).
• Recruit, supervise, and mentor part-time Teen Leaders.
• Maintain licensing compliance, manage student files, attendance, and data for grants.
• Build partnerships with parents, schools, and community partners to support student success.
