Dedham Community House in Dedham, MA seeks a Director of Programs to lead summer camp, aquatics, and year-round programming. You will supervise Camp and Aquatics Directors, recruit seasonal staff, manage registrations, and ensure safe, engaging experiences for children and adults.

The role requires on-site leadership, collaboration with finance and education partners, and active involvement in community events to raise program visibility and enrollment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in recreation management, education, youth development, sports management, nonprofit management, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in summer camp, recreation, youth development, or related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Aufgaben

• Oversee DCH's summer camp, aquatics, and year-round programs; provide hands-on leadership.
• Supervise Camp Director and Aquatics Director; recruit seasonal staff and plan staffing.
• Manage enrollments, registrations, rosters, and program records; monitor enrollment and performance.
• Develop and manage recreational, enrichment, sports, and wellness programs for children and adults; identify opportunities for new programs.
• Develop program budgets with Executive Director and Finance staff; monitor revenue and expenses.
• Lead or support community events like Fall Family Festival and Tree Sale; collaborate with Marketing.
