Seton Hall University seeks a Director of Student Success for the Arts & Sciences to oversee undergraduate advising operations and data-informed retention efforts. The role partners with academic departments and university offices to improve persistence, timely degree progression, and student experiences.

The position emphasizes FERPA-compliant case management, inquiry handling, and executive oversight of events such as Open House and Admitted Student Days.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, Education, or related field; or a related master’s plus student-services experience.
• At least five years of progressive higher-education experience in undergraduate advising, student success, retention, or related function.
• Knowledge of FERPA, privacy in student records, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to analyze student data and translate findings into actionable strategies and executive briefings.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily undergraduate advising and academic-form operations for College students, including course/degree planning and policy guidance.
• Design and assess data-informed persistence and retention strategies with dashboards and campaigns.
• Manage the College's student inquiry channel, triage, referrals, and escalation pathways.
• Direct programming and logistics for Open House, Admitted Student Days, and orientation events in partnership with Admissions and Marketing.
