Job summary

Centenary University seeks a dynamic, student-centered leader to serve as its inaugural Senior Director of Student Success. This position shapes a comprehensive, collaborative model that supports persistence, well-being, engagement, and career readiness.

The Sr. Director will lead data-informed strategies, coordinate advising, accessibility services, tutoring, and retention initiatives, and build cross‑campus partnerships to empower every student to thrive academically and personally.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in higher education or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years in student affairs, student success, or related areas.
• Proven success in developing, implementing, and leading student support and retention initiatives.
• Experience supervising professional staff and managing student services.
• Knowledge of ADA, Section 504, FERPA, and best practices in student affairs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of an integrated student success framework coordinating academic support, advising, accessibility services, and retention.
• Use data-informed decision making and proactive interventions to improve student outcomes and belonging.
• Foster collaboration across faculty, staff, and campus partners to advance student success goals.
• Oversee case management services and educational opportunity programs.
