Static Steel LLC is seeking a Director of Business Development to expand its backlog across the United States. The role focuses on identifying early opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers, and getting Static Steel onto qualified bidder lists.

The candidate will pursue negotiated, design-build, and design-assist opportunities while working with estimating, operations, and executive teams to win contracts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural steel, metal building, Division 5, or commercial-construction business-development experience.
• Ability to identify opportunities early and cultivate relationships with decision-makers.
• Strong negotiating and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.

Responsabilités

• Identify and pursue new structural steel, PEMB, and ground-up building opportunities.
• Develop relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, EPCs, architects, engineers, and design-build firms.
• Establish Static Steel on bidder lists and pursue negotiated opportunities.
• Collaborate with estimating, operations, engineering, and executive teams throughout pursuit and contract award.
