Job summary

Quanta Services is seeking a Director, Business Operations to drive operational execution and strategic initiatives on behalf of executive leadership. This role sits close to decision-making, translating priorities into structured plans, and ensuring data and analysis are in front of leadership at the right time.

The Director operates as a trusted advisor and is a driver of cross-functional initiatives to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in business operations, strategy, finance or related field.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; ability to build a business case.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort operating in a large, decentralized, multi-business-unit organization.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic priorities into structured plans and workstreams.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across departments and operating companies.
• Build financial models and business cases to support major decisions.
• Prepare executive-level reports, presentations and board materials.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive improvements across processes.
• Coordinate with leaders on priority initiatives and milestones.
• Manage special projects from scoping to results reporting.
• Monitor KPIs and flag risks and opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
