In this role, you will report to the CTO and serve as a key strategic and operational leader, ensuring the engineering organization operates efficiently and aligns with business goals. This highly influential role involves strategic planning, technical operations, release execution, internal communications, customer interaction, and cross-functional collaboration. You will drive the rhythm of engineering, ensure organizational alignment, and optimize execution across teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CTO, providing insights, feedback, and strategic support.
2. Drive cross-functional initiatives that improve execution across Engineering, Product Management, Customer Success, and Support, ensuring timely delivery of key engineering and product commitments.
3. Manage and optimize operational processes, including goal setting and OKRs, to drive continuous improvement across distributed teams.
4. Prepare and facilitate effective meetings, including engineering leadership syncs, off-sites, operational reviews, technical deep dives, and all-hands sessions.
5. Act as a bridge across teams, ensuring engineering, product, and business functions are aligned in strategy and execution.
6. Track and monitor the progress of key technical and organizational initiatives, ensuring accountability and execution. Progress measurement should be heavily data-driven to provide continuous key metrics.
7. Work closely with Finance, HR, Communications, Talent Acquisition, and Business Operations partners to ensure operational clarity and efficiency.
8. Track and measure OKRs for the engineering organization.
9. Lead and contribute to special projects that enhance engineering team effectiveness and culture.

Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of experience in engineering operations, technical program management, business operations, or a similar leadership role.
2. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership at the VP and CXO levels.
3. Proven track record of leading strategic and operational cross-functional initiatives in a technical organization.
4. Experience driving engineering team efficiency and process improvements in a large, distributed organization.
5. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
7. Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-moving environments with competing priorities.
8. Passion for fostering a high-performance engineering culture and enabling teams to scale.

Working Model:

This role is available as fully remote and generally requires attendance at on-site meetings only occasionally, based on business needs. The work model may change to accommodate business requirements.
