Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Director, Program Management to lead the execution of complex programs and portfolios supporting strategic customers and long‑term business objectives. You will partner with Executive, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Product Management, and Business Development to strengthen program execution and customer satisfaction.

You will oversee staffing, governance, risk reviews, and milestone assessments in a dynamic, high-growth space environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, program management, operations, or related field.
5+ years of leadership or management experience heading program management orgs.
Deep knowledge of program lifecycle, portfolio management, and customer relationships.
Expertise in financials, risk management, and strategic planning.
Proficient with PM tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Lead execution of complex program portfolios for strategic customers and contracts.
Establish portfolio priorities, governance, and performance objectives.
Evaluate performance across cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Develop long-range program strategies aligned with priorities and commitments.
Serve as executive interface for major contracts and customers.
Build executive relationships to enable growth and delivery excellence.
Collaborate with Business Development, Product, and Engineering on growth and contracts.
Provide insights to influence strategic decisions and actions.
Coach and develop program management professionals; foster accountability.
