Job summary

INVISTA seeks a Director, POV SBD to shape long-term growth by developing market points of view, leading economic and financial analysis, and driving strategic initiatives from evaluation through execution.

This role serves as a strategic advisor to business and executive leadership, helping inform decisions regarding growth investments, portfolio optimization, partnerships, acquisitions, and other value-creating opportunities.

Qualifications

5+ years in strategy, business development, corporate development, investment analysis, or related field.
Experience in chemicals, petrochemicals, polymers, industrial manufacturing, materials, or related industries and/or prior Koch company exposure.
Experience performing financial modeling, valuation, economic analysis, and cash flow modeling for strategic initiatives or capital projects.
Experience as a strategic advisor with a focus on M&A, divestitures, and joint collaborations.
Experience supervising or leading a team.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strategic market POVs and refine long-term market insights.
Lead strategic planning and business development with senior leadership.
Conduct economic analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning for investments and growth opportunities.
Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders, build partnerships, and mentor team members.
