Job summary

Sexual Trauma Awareness & Response (STAR) seeks an experienced, systems-minded Director of Organizational Development to strengthen people, development, compliance and administrative systems in support of STAR's mission and long-term sustainability.

Based in Baton Rouge or New Orleans, you will partner with the CEO, Finance Director, program managers, and the Board to translate priorities into effective processes, templates, and accountable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management or related field; five years of nonprofit leadership experience.
• Grant writing and grant-management experience with complex proposals and reporting.
• Strong project management, writing, editing, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and balance competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Fund Development & Grant Administration: lead grants, coordinate proposals and reporting, manage donor records.
• Compliance & Policy: maintain compliance systems, coordinate audits, and policy development.
• Human Resources & Workforce Systems: oversee recruitment, onboarding, credentials, and training.
• Organizational Development & Leadership: drive cross-functional workflows, planning, and budgeting.
