Job summary

Sexual Trauma Awareness & Response (STAR) in the United States is seeking an experienced, survivor-centered leader to serve as Director of Survivor Services in Baton Rouge or New Orleans. This executive role oversees advocacy, trauma therapy, legal services, and rural initiatives to ensure accessible, high-quality survivor support across STAR's programs.

As a member of STAR's executive team, you will design strategy, align services with funding requirements, monitor outcomes, and lead staff

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and at least five years in victim services or related field.
• At least three years of supervisory or program leadership experience.
• Experience using data, budgets, grants, policies, and outcome measures to improve services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cohesive survivor services strategy with clear priorities.
• Oversee service delivery across programs and ensure access, referrals, waitlists, continuity of care.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality, privacy, licensure, grants and professional ethics.
• Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and partnerships with stakeholders.
