Job summary

Sexual Trauma Awareness & Response (STAR) seeks a highly organized Training Project Coordinator to manage a three-year federal grant-funded training initiative. You will coordinate with OVW, TTA providers, and community partners, ensuring timely, compliant, and culturally responsive training delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with at least one year in program coordination or crisis intervention, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel in STAR’s service area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, criminal justice, nonprofit management, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• At least one year of professional experience in program coordination, project management, or training implementation in a nonprofit or human services setting.
• Experience organizing or facilitating interdisciplinary teams or committees.
• At least one year of experience providing direct crisis intervention and/or survivor advocacy; knowledge of the criminal justice field and crisis services for survivors of sexual trauma.
• Strong organizational, communication, writing, data management, and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel throughout STAR's service area.
• Commitment to STAR's mission, survivor-centered approach, confidentiality, and ethical standards; completion of required background checks and sexual violence training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project timelines and deliverables; central point of contact among partners.
• Facilitate an interdisciplinary training implementation team; maintain records and documentation.
• Collect and report performance data; collaborate with external evaluators.
• Assist with grant reporting and compliance; ensure culturally and linguistically appropriate training.
• Support travel as required within STAR's service area.

Education

Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, criminal justice, nonprofit management, or related field

Master's degree preferred

1+ year of professional experience in program coordination, project management, or training implementation

Experience organizing/interdisciplinary teams or committees

1+ year of direct crisis intervention and/or survivor advocacy

Knowledge of the criminal justice field and crisis services for survivors of sexual trauma

Strong organizational, communication, writing, data management, and time-management skills

Ability to travel throughout STAR's service area
