Job summary

Instrumentum is seeking a Director of Sterile Processing for our Richmond-area sites, including the ORC. This leadership role oversees the SPD across multiple facilities with travel between sites and a focus on quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead a team of Coordinators and Technicians, drive standardization of workflows, and collaborate with logistics and facility leadership to ensure trays are clean, complete, and on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sterile processing experience, including 3+ years in a management role.
• Active CRCST certification (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sterile Processing Department across Richmond-area BSMH sites, including the ORC.
• Set department-wide goals, quality standards, and performance benchmarks.
• Own compliance with AAMI, CDC, CMS, and other regulatory standards; audits and corrective actions.
