Job summary

BrothersTech in Richmond, VA is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a 3 Months Contract to Permanent role on 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7:30am).

You will master instrument processing, assembly and packaging, quality control, inventory, infection control, documentation, equipment maintenance, client communication, and training teammates as part of a growing off-site sterilization operation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Sterile Processing Technician experience.
• CRCST/CSPDT License.

Responsibilities

• Instrument Processing Mastery: Transform used medical instruments from potential hazards to paragons of sterility.
• Assembly and Packaging Artistry: Assemble and package instrument sets with the precision of a craftsman.
• Quality Control Vigilance: Be the guardian of safety, conducting meticulous checks that ensure only the highest standards of sterilization are met.
• Inventory Management Acumen: Keep a keen eye on our arsenal of instruments, ensuring every item is accounted for, pristine, and ready at a moment's notice.
• Safety and Infection Control Champion: Uphold the highest standards of infection control, donning your PPE to safeguard against contamination.
• Documentation Diligence: Maintain meticulous sterilization records and up-to-date documentation.
• Equipment Maintenance Expertise: Tend to sterilization equipment to keep them in peak condition.
• Communication Conductor: Coordinate with clients and team for seamless information flow.
• Training and Education Pathfinder: Share knowledge and uplift fellow technicians.
