Specialized Education Services, Inc. is seeking a Director of Special Education to lead SPED programs, coordinate with the director and staff, and oversee onboarding of new team members. This role partners with school leadership to ensure high-quality educational services nationwide.

The Director will supervise program implementation, manage IEP processes, and drive staff development while collaborating with districts, parents, and the community to support student success.

Qualifikationen

• Level 2 Special Education Certificate in PA is required.
• Experience coaching staff is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate, manage, and assess needs for special education programs.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding campus staff.
• Develop transition planning and services (Indicator 13).
• Maintain IEP databases and student files.
• Attend IEP meetings and ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
• Deliver staff and parent education on special education programs.
• Collaborate with school district, parents, and community.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Organize training for professional development and staff meetings.
