Formación

• 5+ years spa and wellness management experience, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role within a luxury setting.
• Strong understanding of spa services, wellness trends, and retail management.
• Proven financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of spa facilities including pool, fitness, thermal, and aquatic environments.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the full daily operation of the spa, including all spa services, wellness programmes, and aquatic facilities.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience, drive revenue, and grow profitability of spa and retail operations.
• Lead, inspire, and develop a team of therapists, estheticians, retail attendants, and support staff to maintain high service standards.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote spa services, wellness retreats, and special events.
• Manage scheduling, training, and ongoing development of the spa and retail team.
• Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships for spa products and treatment lines, negotiating favorable terms.
• Analyze financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to meet business objectives.
• Stay current with wellness, beauty, and spa trends, introducing new services and products where appropriate.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all spa areas.
• Collaborate with engineering to address and resolve maintenance issues promptly within the spa.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for a Director of Spa and Wellness for a premier luxury hotel in Montauk. Reporting to the General Manager, this is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all spa and wellness operations, developing wellness initiatives, driving revenue, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate brings a genuine passion for wellness, a strong background in luxury spa management, and proven leadership skills.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Oversee the full daily operation of the spa, including all spa services, wellness programmes, and aquatic facilities
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience, drive revenue, and grow the profitability of the spa and retail operations

• Knowledge of spa facilities including pool, fitness, thermal, and aquatic environments
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required
