Job summary

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) in Plano, TX seeks a Director of Software Engineering to own the technology domain strategy and delivery for global customer-facing products. You will lead multiple teams, drive platform excellence, and collaborate with product and enterprise leaders to shape the customer experience.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of engineering leadership, deep CX and multi-tenant experience, and a strong background in public cloud and on-prem architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 15+ years of engineering experience developing global customer-facing products with 7+ years in management.
• Proven track record building large-scale CX platforms and multi-tenant high-availability systems.
• Strong product lifecycle understanding and collaboration with product leaders.
• Hands-on JavaScript frameworks, architecture patterns, RESTful API development, and CX engineering.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced, Agile environments and recruiting top engineering talent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technology domain and develop the domain tech strategy.
• Lead multiple teams and deliver impactful business outcomes.
• Influence stakeholders and foster partnerships internally and externally.
• Build and scale an engineering organization with best practices and KPIs.
• Own delivery plans from initiation to closure and report progress to leadership.
