Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering and architecture experience, including 3+ years in system/app design, with Spring Boot/Java/JavaScript.
• Proven design and delivery of large-scale, multi-region cloud-native solutions, preferably on AWS, with event-driven/streaming architectures and container platforms (EKS/ECS).
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern software development methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills; experience leading engineering teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Adaptive, mission-driven leadership; able to support incident response as needed.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional certs are a strong plus; finance-domain automation experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design discussions across system components (APIs, databases, caching, messaging, observability).
• Partner with product, tech stakeholders and teams to define end-to-end architecture for applications.
• Evaluate trade-offs and drive scalable, secure, cost-effective solutions aligned to business goals.
• Introduce new software patterns, tools, and frameworks via proof-of-concepts and adoption plans.
• Lead AWS-based solution strategy and stay current with cloud technologies.
• Define cloud data lake and processing strategies for real-time ingestion and reporting.
• Architect cloud-native apps using serverless and modern compute, with secure DevSecOps practices.
• Create technical docs, diagrams, and standards for consistency and knowledge transfer.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
• Grow engineering talent through feedback, career planning, and succession support.
• Build high-performing teams with clear goals, collaboration, and inclusive culture.
• Align technical direction with organizational vision across cross-functional teams.
