Job summary

Toyota Financial Services in Plano, TX seeks a Director of Software Engineering to lead an engineering organization delivering customer-facing products at global scale. You will own delivery plans, drive architecture decisions, and partner with Product and Enterprise leaders to shape long-term technology strategy.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years in management, strong cloud and GenAI capabilities, and a proven track record building multi-tenant CX

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years in management.
• Experience building large-scale CX platforms and multi-tenant systems.
• Strong background in OO programming, JavaScript, architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud (AWS/GCP) and on-premise environments.
• Proven ability to recruit and scale engineering teams; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Build a best-in-class engineering team delivering rapid iterations.
• Own delivery of technology initiatives across the domain.
• Collaborate with Product and Enterprise leaders on long-term tech strategy.
• Lead design, UX, platform integrations, availability, performance, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain delivery plans and report progress to stakeholders.
