Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Banking and Commercial Lending is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager (Software Engineering Lead) to collaborate with product owners and teams to design end-to-end architecture for applications across the financial services portfolio. This role is based in Plano, TX.

You will guide architecture discussions, ensure secure and scalable solutions, and mentor engineers to build high-quality, cloud-native software using AWS, Spring Boot, Java, and JavaScript.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering and architecture experience.
• 3+ years in system and application design.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Java, and JavaScript.
• Experience delivering large-scale, multi-region cloud-native solutions on AWS.

Responsabilités

• Lead architecture and design discussions across system components, including APIs and data stores.
• Define end-to-end architecture for applications across the financial services portfolio.
• Drive secure, scalable, and cost-aware solutions with DevSecOps practices.
• Mentor engineers and grow high-performing teams with clear goals.
• Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional partners for delivery.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation and standards.
