The role requires hands‑on leadership, strong system design, and collaboration with Product and Architecture to drive scalable microservices in a cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with large‑scale, distributed systems.
• Deep hands‑on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and retain a team of full‑stack and backend engineers — hiring top talent and coaching.
• Design and architect complex distributed platforms supporting various pricing and credit workflows.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of major initiatives from design to production readiness.
• Drive scalable, fault‑tolerant microservices using cloud‑native patterns.
• Align technical execution with business priorities and roadmaps.
• Establish engineering standards across APIs, observability, resiliency, and cloud practices.
• Lead API‑first and event‑driven integrations across dealer portals and origination systems.
• Ensure production readiness with monitoring, alerts, tracing, and operations.
• Mentor engineers on system design and code quality, build technical depth.
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and team scaling, including mentoring.
