Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Director of Software Delivery to join our senior program leadership in Washington, DC. You will lead large, enterprise-grade software initiatives for Federal clients, coordinating multiple scrum teams and subcontractors while ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.

You will drive process improvements in a CMMI Level 3 environment, manage workforce planning, and maintain strong government relationships to enable successful program outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Federal contracting with 5+ years in progressive management roles.
• Experience managing large, multi-team programs with 50+ staff and multiple locations.
• Budget ownership with profit/loss responsibility and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and project leadership for software delivery to Federal customers across multiple scrum teams and subcontractors.
• Plan and oversee execution of several software development projects from requirements through production release.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, customer care, and Government teams to ensure launches and user adoption of releases.
• Oversee production sustainment and report software status to executives and Government clients using EVM and defect metrics.
• Develop subordinate managers and team leads; mentor, coach, and drive performance and succession planning.
