Job summary

Dobbs Truck Group in Memphis, TN, is seeking a Director of Service to lead Service and Body operations across multiple dealership locations. The role supports the VP of Service in strategy, execution, and financial performance, with frequent travel to sites and meetings.

The Director will lead service leadership teams, ensure OEM standards, warranty processes, and customer service excellence while collaborating with sales, parts, and marketing to grow service capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, transportation, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial truck, dealership service, heavy‑duty repair, fleet maintenance, transportation, or related service operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting service department operations and coaching service leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead Service and Body operations across assigned dealership locations, reporting to VP of Service.
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, retention, and performance management for key service leadership and technician roles.
• Support implementation of training, warranty processes, and OEM standards to improve service performance.
