As Senior Director of AMS Layout Engineering, you will lead the physical implementation of advanced high-speed analog and mixed-signal circuits for next-generation SerDes technologies. This strategic technical leadership role requires deep expertise in AMS layout, a strong track record of building and developing high-performing engineering teams, and the ability to translate

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in analog/mixed-signal layout for high-speed SerDes.
• Experience delivering advanced-node designs (5nm or below).
• Leadership of AMS layout teams and hiring/mentoring.
• Strong cross-functional influence across design, technology, and validation teams.
• Experience with silicon validation and first-silicon readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead AMS layout engineering for high-speed SerDes PHYs across analog and mixed-signal blocks.
• Drive layout solutions at advanced nodes, addressing design rules, patterning, parasitics, and SI/PI.
• Collaborate with circuit designers to optimize bandwidth, jitter, noise, and power at 100G+ per lane.
• Establish layout methodologies, guidelines, verification flows, and quality standards.
• Build and scale a strong AMS layout organization through strategic hiring and mentorship.
• Drive project planning, resource allocation, reviews, and execution across concurrent efforts.
• Foster a culture of technical depth, accountability, and distributed collaboration.
