Job summary

POWER CENTER ACADEMY HIGH SCHOOL in Memphis, TN is seeking a Dean to lead instructional initiatives as part of the school leadership team. The role includes guiding teachers, implementing curriculum frameworks, and supporting data-driven practices to elevate student achievement.

The Dean will work closely with the principal, facilitate PLCs, provide feedback, and train staff during professional development sessions.

Qualifications

• Tennessee teaching and/or admin license required.
• 4+ years of teaching experience at Level 4-5 with gap-closure competency.
• Strong project management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience presenting to and coaching adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate teacher understanding of standards and PLCs.
• Lead implementation of GLOE and Curriculum Frameworks through coaching feedback.
• Support adult learners to improve professional practices.
• Provide ongoing feedback to teachers based on data and practice.
• Deliver training for school and district professional development meetings.
• Collaborate with principal to set and pursue academic goals.
