Western Union in Denver, CO seeks a Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to lead accurate, timely SEC filings and external financial communications. You will oversee global consolidations, equity accounting, and the adoption of new accounting standards, partnering with multiple teams to ensure compliance and transparency.

Qualifications

• Requires 8+ years of experience in technical accounting and SEC reporting.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP including revenue recognition, hedging, leases, business combinations.
• Ability to lead and develop staff across multiple geographies.

Responsabilités

• Ensure accurate, timely and compliant SEC reporting (Forms 10-K/10-Q, 8-K, earnings releases, proxy).
• Oversee global consolidations and equity accounting, including stock compensation.
• Review new accounting policies, partnerships, M&A activity, and novel arrangements for appropriate accounting and valuation.
• Manage impairment testing for goodwill and other intangible assets.
• Support external financial reporting, investor communications, and audit process.
