Job summary

Western Digital, in partnership with LHH, seeks a Director of SEC Reporting to lead external financial reporting and oversee a team of accounting professionals. The role offers strategic direction across SEC disclosures, capital markets transactions, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of accounting/finance experience with a CPA, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and hands-on SEC filing expertise, including 10-K and 10-Q.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience in accounting/finance with strong U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting knowledge.
• Active CPA license and 6+ years of demonstrated people-management experience.
• Hands-on experience preparing Forms 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy statements, and other SEC filings.
• Experience with multinational operations, cross-functional projects, process automation, Oracle ERP, and Workiva.

Responsibilities

• Oversee periodic SEC filings and external reporting obligations.
• Coordinate annual audits and quarterly reviews with the outside accounting firm.
• Partner with investor relations, legal, tax, treasury, HR and business ops on complex disclosures.
• Mentor and lead a team of accounting professionals and drive process improvements.
