Job summary

Bradsby Group is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Denver for a hybrid role focusing on SEC reporting and financial statement consolidation. The position requires CPA licensure, U.S. GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and SOX compliance expertise, with exposure to Form 10-K/10-Q filings and external audits.

The role involves coordinating quarterly earnings materials, reviewing XBRL tagging, and supporting management during the filing process, with a base salary plus a 20% bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Active CPA license is mandatory.
• Extensive working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS and SEC regulations.
• Strong understanding of and experience with SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review external consolidated financial statements and footnotes filed with the SEC.
• Review XBRL tagging and presentation of financial statements post in Active Disclosure.
• Coordinate Form 10-K/10-Q filing process and address management comments.
• Own metrics for quarterly earnings release (Form 8-K) and related disclosures.
• Analyze global financial information and key performance metrics.
• Draft accounting memos and perform technical research.
• Support SOX controls with the global accounting team and internal audit.
• Assist external auditors during audits and interim reviews.
• Handle other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review external consolidated financial statements, footnotes and management’s discussion and analysis filed with the SEC (Forms 10-K and 10-Q), along with disclosure checklist
• Review XBRL tagging and presentation of financial statements and footnotes within Active Disclosure
• Organize and address comments received from senior management during the Form 10-K/Q filing process
• Own key financial information and metrics for quarterly earnings release (Form 8-K)
• Analyze global financial information and key metrics
• Draft accounting memos and perform technical research
• Hold a key role in the SOX controls compliance process alongside the global accounting team and internal audit
• Support the external auditors during audits and interim reviews
• Other duties and projects, as assigned

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, minimum five years of public accounting or SEC reporting experience (minimum four years of public accounting). Derivatives experience a plus.
• Active CPA license required
• Extensive working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS and SEC regulations
• Strong understanding of and experience with SOX required
