Job summary

WD is seeking a senior accounting leader to drive SEC reporting, external financial filings, and cross‑functional programs across global operations. You will mentor a growing team, partner with IT and business functions on system improvements, and ensure rigorous controls in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires deep US GAAP expertise, CPA certification, and 6+ years of leadership experience overseeing complex transactions and external reporting for multinational operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Active CPA license required.
• Demonstrated experience managing a team for 6+ years.
• Hands-on with Form 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy and related SEC filings.
• Experience with capital markets transactions and cross‑functional projects.
• Multinational operations with multi-currency exposure.
• Implementing new accounting pronouncements and process automation.
• Strong cross-functional communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SEC filings, including financial statements, notes, and MD&A.
• Coordinate external audits and quarterly reviews with the audit firm.
• Collaborate with investor relations on financial communications.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to address accounting implications of complex transactions.
• Monitor SEC/FASB developments and advise on system/process changes.
• Present information to the Audit Committee as needed.
• Act as global technical lead on strategic transactions.
• Develop and mentor the accounting team, fostering career growth.
