Job summary

Burnet CISD is seeking a Director of Bond Projects to oversee bond-funded construction and renovation district-wide from planning through completion. The role ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and coordinates with architects, engineers, and inspectors to drive project success.

The position requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with a minimum of five years in bond construction management or related fields and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Clear and valid Texas driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all district bond-funded construction and renovation projects from planning through completion.
• Serve as liaison to architects, engineers, and consultants for plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Develop bond project schedules and conduct progress meetings.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements, including codes and inspections.
• Inspect facilities and advise on improvements and priorities for bond work.
• Prepare and present bond project progress to the Board and committees.
