Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Director of Technical Program Management within Technical Solutions Operations to scale a cross-functional PMO, drive business outcomes, and lead a team of senior TPMs across multiple customer-facing functions. • 10+ years running complex, cross-functional programs at a senior level, with VP and senior Director stakeholders.
• Systems builder with a track record designing operating models, playbooks, and frameworks.
• Autonomously executive-ready — decisive under ambiguity, composed under pressure, able to lead VP-level conversations.
• Experienced applying AI as an operational tool with a practical point of view on capability shifts.
• Developer of senior talent and teams that operate independently at a high standard.
• Outcome-oriented and metric-driven with clear success criteria.

Responsibilities

• Run the PMO as a business impact function, linking programs to measurable outcomes like productivity, revenue influence or customer experience.
• Build scalable, cross-functional capabilities across TS; avoid one-off fixes.
• Drive programs from alignment to impact with clear scope, sequencing, ownership and success metrics.
• Represent TSO in executive forums with Directors and VPs; drive decisions and align stakeholders.
• Deploy AI-enabled workflows to create operational leverage across planning, communication and execution.
• Develop the TPM team and raise the bar for execution quality, stakeholder management and accountability.
• Build cross-functional relationships across TS and adjacent functions to extend TSO impact.
