Job summary

Datadog is seeking a seasoned leader to head the Product Solution Architecture team, guiding expert contributors across Engineering and Product Management to promote best practices for Datadog adoption at scale. You will recruit, mentor, and align the team with key initiatives while delivering actionable feedback to Product Management and senior stakeholders.

You will influence executives and collaborate with Sales, Support, Partners and Customers to shape architecture decisions and drive

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience solving complex problems for customers and a strong knowledge of observability space.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Experience influencing VPs and C-level stakeholders in large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of expert individual contributors, coordinating with Engineering and Product Management on adoption of Datadog at scale.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of top talent for the team.
• Mentor new hires during onboarding to ramp skills and capabilities.
• Ensure alignment to top company initiatives and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.
• Deliver performance reviews and develop individual development plans.
• Act as trusted advisor to Product Management with field feedback from Sales, Support, Partners and Customers.
• Provide guidance on architecture choices, data collection, and best practices for large Enterprise customers.
• Participate in Executive Brief conversations with high profile customers and prospects.
