Job summary

Cencora is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Platform Operations leader to define, govern, and optimize the Salesforce environment in alignment with IT and business priorities.

You will lead a cross-functional team of admins, engineers, and DevOps, driving reliability, security, and scalable delivery of business value while partnering with stakeholders to align roadmaps with enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management across IT and business.
• Deep understanding of platform operations disciplines (reliability, incident/change, release) and security considerations.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem and operational considerations (org/environment strategy, security, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe principles and product-centric delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to executives.
• Driven to improve automation, standardization, and efficiency.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet fast-paced commitments.

Responsibilities

• Defines and executes the Salesforce Platform Operations strategy aligned to IT and business priorities.
• Leads cross-functional team and partners with product owners to forecast demand and plan releases.
• Oversees governance across environments, identity/data retention, releases, and integrations.
• Manages vendor/partner performance and contract/Governance aspects.
• Drives continuous improvement including reliability, incident management, and cost optimization.
• Develops platform roadmaps and customer communications for platform events.
• Establishes metrics, dashboards, and SLA/OLA alignment for Salesforce services.
