Job summary

Kahua seeks a Director of Sales Development to lead our SDR organization from the Avalon office in Alpharetta. You will set standards for prospecting, coaching, hiring, and growing people, and own the pipeline the team delivers.

This is a builder’s role with executive support to shape the next stage of Kahua’s Sales Development. You will lead SDR Managers and SDRs, build career paths, and partner with HR on recruiting and onboarding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading SDR/BDR teams incl. managers.
• Proven track record in developing sales development teams.
• Experience with sales development methodologies.
• Experience with Salesforce, Gong, and modern tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead through managers and grow engaged, high-performing SDR teams.
• Build a continuous improvement operating system for SDR.
• Apply AI fluency to improve prospecting, coaching, and reporting.
• Coach SDR Managers and SDRs via live calls and coaching.
• Design a clear SDR career path from ramp to leadership.
• Own SDR recruiting and onboarding in partnership with HR.
• Define SDR metrics: meetings, opportunities, pipeline.
• Collaborate with AEs, Marketing, Revenue Ops, and Finance.
• Report weekly on activity, conversion, pipeline, and team health.
• Gather market feedback to refine messaging.
