K44 Consulting LLC is seeking a Director of Sales for a major international wholesaler/manufacturer in the Building Materials industry. The role is based in Edison, NJ with travel about 40%. In-office presence is required when not traveling.

You will lead the sales organization across national accounts, distribution channels, and manufacturer partners, aligning with product marketing, operations, and senior leadership to drive growth and market penetration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years sales experience within the distribution /wholesale/manufacturing building materials industry.
• 3+ years of sales management experience.
• Demonstrated success growing sales through distribution, dealer, national account, and/or retail channels.
• Strong understanding of account management, channel strategy, forecasting, and sales planning.

Responsabilités

• Directly owns the relationship with the decking manufacturers.
• Lead, coach, and develop the sales Territory Managers covering NY, NJ, PA, DE, and MD.
• Maintain and expand relationships with key national accounts, distributors, dealers, and strategic channel partners.
• Establish clear sales goals, performance expectations, and accountability across the sales organization.
