Director of Sales And Business Development

Millpress Imports, founded in 2016, is a leader in the fresh extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) and vinegar industry. The company is dedicated to providing high-quality products sourced from long-term grower partners and quality-minded producers worldwide. With a focus on serving the best operators in the US and Canadian markets, Millpress Imports offers a diverse catalog of EVOO, infused EVOOs, artisan vinegars, and gourmet pantry items.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Director of Sales And Business Development at Millpress Imports. The Director will be responsible for leading sales and business development efforts, managing sales operations, optimizing customer service, developing a future sales team, and driving business growth in the US and Canadian markets.

Qualifications

  • Sales and Business Development skills
  • Sales Operations and Customer Service expertise
  • MUST have FOOD CPG experience
  • Experience managing a book of business over $10 million annual revenue
  • Private Label and/or Food Service experience required - Olive Oil or Vinegar a PLUS but not a requirement
  • Comfortable working for a family business
  • Strong strategic planning and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop sales strategies
  • Experience in the food industry or consumer packaged goods sector is a plus
  • Strong experience with MRP/ERP and lead management systems
  • Team Oriented, strong communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field or equivalent in experience
