Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in safety-related field and 5+ years of safety management experience, with strong communication, computer and organizational skills. Travel to multiple sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of corporate safety experience in a relevant industry.
• Experience in heavy highway or industrial settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives workplace safety and implements the company safety program.
• Develops policies and programs to foster a safe culture.
• Coordinates safety compliance across Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.
• Leads the safety department and mentors staff.
• Partners with site managers to investigate incidents and determine root causes.
