Graduate Providence, a Highgate property, seeks a Director of Rooms to oversee Guest Services, Uniformed Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, Security, Communications and Reservations. You will drive service quality, staff development, and revenue growth while maintaining Highgate standards.

Located in downtown Providence, this role requires seasoned Rooms Division leadership, budget oversight, and a commitment to exceptional guest experiences in a historic hotel setting.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Previous management experience required.
• Must be proficient in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Motivate, coach and discipline Rooms Division personnel according to hotel standards.
• Prepare and conduct interviews and support HR with recruiting efforts.
• Develop staff morale and ensure training of Rooms Division personnel.
• Monitor and maximize room revenue and occupancy; review rate variance and daily house counts.
• Lead Rooms Division meetings and prepare monthly financial reviews.
