MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces seeks a Director of Risk Management to oversee risk programs that safeguard patients, visitors and staff. You will identify and evaluate risks, coordinate corrective actions, and educate staff to foster a culture of safety across the facility.

This leader collaborates with hospital administration, department leaders and legal counsel to manage regulatory compliance, incident reporting and patient safety initiatives, including root cause analyses

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• 4+ years of direct experience in lieu of a Bachelor's.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of related field experience with Bachelor's degree required.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and manages the facility's risk management program and evaluates risks.
• Develops and updates policies to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Leads patient safety initiatives including root cause analyses and quality improvement.
• Manages claims and coordinates with legal counsel with documentation.
• Presents risk reports to administration and relevant committees.
