Job summary

MountainView Regional Medical Center is seeking a Director of Risk Management to lead the design and execution of risk programs that protect patients, staff, and visitors. You will identify and evaluate risk, coordinate corrective actions, and educate teams to foster a culture of safety across the campus.

This role partners with hospital leadership, supports regulatory compliance efforts, oversees incident reporting and claims processes, and directs budget and staffing to align with our mission

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred; 3–5 years of leadership experience advantageous.
• Experience in risk management, patient safety, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage risk management programs for patient safety and operations.
• Develop and update policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead patient safety initiatives and incident reporting processes.
• Oversee budgets, staffing, and resource allocation for the department.
• Provide staff education and guidance on risk practices and corrective actions.
• Prepare reports for administration and governance committees.
