• Oversee insurance coverage, renewals, claims resolution, and broker relationships.
• Collaborate with property operations, legal counsel, and executives on risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
• Guide property inspections, incident response, internal policies, and company-wide risk education.
• Evaluate emerging risks and develop practical solutions to protect assets and support business objectives.

I’m partnering with a growing real estate organization to identify a senior risk management leader who can strengthen risk controls, oversee insurance programs, and help protect a diverse multifamily portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise risk strategy and identify potential operational, financial, legal, and property-level exposures.
• Oversee insurance coverage, renewals, claims resolution, and broker relationships.
• Partner with property operations, legal counsel, and executive leadership on risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
• Guide property inspections, incident response, internal policies, and company-wide risk education.
• Evaluate emerging risks and develop practical solutions to protect assets and support business objectives.

Ideal Background:

• 10+ years of experience in risk management, insurance, or compliance.
• At least 5 years in a leadership capacity within real estate or property management firm.
• Strong understanding of multifamily operations, insurance markets, liability exposure, and applicable regulations.
• Relevant risk management certification required; advanced degree or legal education preferred.

Compensation:

$150,000 - $180,000 DOE

This is an in-office position located in West Houston (1 day flex WFH)
