Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Director of Retail to oversee all resort retail operations, including year-round outlets. You will manage budgets, inventory, and merchandising strategies, while leading a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a for-profit environment.

You will drive revenue through pop-up opportunities and ensure high-quality service, with a focus on coaching and developing retail associates within a positive work culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• At least 1-2 years of management experience in a hotel, resort or retail environment is required.

Director of Retail

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Director of Retail. In this role,you’ll manage all retail operations throughout the resort, including year-round outlets such as Marrakesh Market, Indigo Swimwear & Accessories, and Kalahari Outpost. You’ll operate in a “for-profit” environment, seek pop-up opportunities throughout the resort, and ensure guest service exceeds expectations. You’ll also monitor inventory levels, manage budgets, and meet monthly sales goals while fostering a positive working environment.

What We’re Looking For

• We do require that you have aminimum of four years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• At least 1-2 years of management experience in a hotel, resort or retail environment is required.
