Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Head of Restaurant Maintenance in the Boston area to oversee maintenance across multiple restaurant locations. The role requires hands-on leadership, troubleshooting of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems, and coordination with outside vendors to ensure cost-efficient, high-quality work.

Qualifications

Experience overseeing maintenance for multiple restaurant or hospitality locations.
Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Highly organized with excellent follow-through.
Able to travel between Boston-area locations.
Comfortable communicating with leadership, vendors, contractors, and service providers.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day maintenance across multiple restaurant locations in Boston.
Ensure facilities, equipment and building systems operate safely and efficiently.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and PM contracts.
Liaise with outside maintenance, pest control, and service providers.
Review and sign work orders; verify completion to standard.
Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance and repair costs.
